Dolman Baptisms 1563 - 1799
All (?) the Dolman baptisms from the whitehorse parish registers have been saved as a text file on the Dolmans of Cherhill page - link on the right. Thanks to Father Robert Marsh for finding this info.
Variations of spellings found so far
Due to other people writing up the census sheets and Parish registers there was no consistent spelling of surnames. So far I've found these variations of Dolman in Wiltshire:
Dolman
Doleman
Dollman
Dowlman
Dalemon
Dalimon
Dalleman
Dallman
Delman
Doman
Dolmond
All of these come from Dolman "strongholds", however Dolman and Doleman are the most common on the census returns.

William Dolman 1803 Cherhill
Hi Andy,
Good to hear from you.
William Dolman is also my ggg grandfather - I am a descendant of Hugh Dolman whereas you are a descendant of Hugh''s older brother, John.
Unfortunately I have not been able to get back further than William either.
