DOLMANS IN CANADA

If anyone reading this knows of a Dolman Family living in Saskatchewan, Canada in early 1900's I would appreciate hearing from you. I am looking for Margaret Wilson b. 1877 in Montgomeryshire Wales and married a Dolman in either Canada or Montana State USA about 1905-10. She had at least two children Mary and a son called "Beaver". I am trying to trace family of Grandma Laura, age 96 who remembers aunt Margaret but cannot remember her husbands first name. She thinks he may have died fairly young

19th Century Newspapers 1854 - Murderous Assault and Attempted Highway Robbery

The following is from "The Manor and Village of Cherhill" by J H Blackford, Page 240 ( The incorrect date, 1834, and the name Nash are as they are transcribed in the book. The 4th February 1834 was a Tuesday, not a Saturday. (http://www.searchforancestors.com/utility/dayofweek.html). The 1841 , 1851 & 1861 census give Jacob Dash's occupation as Blacksmith. In the 1861 census Jacob Dash was a lodger next door to the Blackford family in Calne, so this version of the story may have been passed down by this route to the author);
"A DASTARDLY ACT
Miss Andrews owns a bible with the following inscription:
John Carpenter,
Presented to him by Sarah Nash in grateful acknowledgment of the services which he rendered to her beloved father when prostrate under a cruel and perilous attack upon his life in the evening of Saturday February 4th, 1834.

Nash was at that time the village postman. He was on his way to Yatesbury to deliver letters and was attacked while proceeding up the carriageway just north of the upper farm. The attacker was anxious to get hold of a letter he believed the postman had with him. Sarah Nash's father was also the village blacksmith and ran the Blacksmith's shop, then situated east of the Bell Inn."
